Proposals
Arthaus is currently seeking proposals for 2025.
We are looking for a diverse range of creative projects for 2025. These can be solo, collaborative, group projects or curatorial, at any stage of career.
The space can be used for a variation of presentations from exhibiting, installation experimentation, performance, practice development or running a workshop etc.
Proposals should include a short statement setting out what you propose for the space, an artist(s) Bio and images that provide an insight into your practice.
Please note in your proposal your contact details, Instagram handle, website and note any dates in 2025 that you are not available to take up the space.
Proposals are due by December 20th 2024.
We will notify you of outcome by January 15th 2025.

Artist Responsibilities
Arthaus Gallery opening hours are Weds-Sun 11-3 pm. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to run the gallery themselves during opening hours and all sales, promotions, and openings/events are the artist’s responsibility. Opening hours can be changed at the request of the artist. Further details for accessing, orientating,
and minding the space will be provided on acceptance.
Costs
Successful applicants will pay a $200 bond on confirmation. Bond is non-refundable if cancelled within 2 weeks prior to the exhibition/hire of space.
Gallery hire is $80 per week, due 2 weeks prior to exhibition. Minimum hire period 1 week, maximum 3 weeks unless otherwise approved.
The weekly hire period is from Tuesday to Monday inclusive - artist must install and de-install within these days. This is to allow for each exhibitor to be open over the weekend and install/de- install to be done over the week.
Poster
If having an exhibition or event the artist is responsible for providing an image and relevant information for a poster. These will be used to promote the exhibition in the two spaces outside the gallery, website and social media platforms. Specifications will be provided on acceptance.
